Where do we deliver?

South Melbourne Market Pet Shop offers Australia wide delivery service, we currently do not deliver internationally. 

Who does the shipping?

Currently Australia Post and Couries Please are our shipping methods, any parcels that exceed the maxium size that these sevices will accept in weight or are larger in measurement can only be picked up in store.On delivery you may be required to sign a proof of delivery document. If you are not available to receive delivery, your items will be taken to a local depot or post office and a calling card containing the relevant contact details will be left at the delivery address.

How much does shipping cost?

To find out how much shipping will cost you have to register your details through the check out,  you may then select your shipping method, shipping will be automatically calculated.

How long does it take for my order to arrive?

We endeavor to have all orders dispatched within 3 workings days of your order being placed once payment has cleared into our account. Depending on your location orders may take from 2-10 days to arrive. Delivery times may be longer during Public Holidays.

If/when stocks are low, delivery may be delayed we will only send orders once all items are in stock. If your order is urgent we strongly suggest you contact us to discuss your needs first to make sure that the products will be available in time for your required date before your order is placed. 

Note:

Whilst all due care is taken when packaging goods, should anything in your package be damaged during transit please advise us by calling 039645 9255 within 2 working days of receipt of goods. We will then discuss your situation. Any damaged products that are of fault of Australia Post need to be left as they were delivered to you and taken to your local Australia Post branch for a claim to be filed.

Refunds & Exchangers

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item to us in its original condition within 7 working days of receipt.

Returned items must be in pristine condition and must be returned in original packaging with any enclosed documentation. We will issue a full refund on receipt, excluding the original delivery charge. Alternatively, if preferred, we will exchange the item. Goods that have been used, damaged or soiled will not be accepted and will be returned at the customer’s expense. 

Please note:

Goods will only be accepted for return if they are dispatched within 14 days of delivery, unless we have notified you otherwise. The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. Therefore for your own protection we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.

Note:

The customer will be responsible for all freight costs for refund or credit.

Warranty

All items come with a manufacturer’s warranty (excluding foods & consumables), i.e. Globes, Glass, pump impellers & shafts. Customers will be responsible for all transport cost to and from us for all warranty claims. We will be responsible for cost between us and the factory or repairer. Please consider these costs before buying from us.

Keep in mind that products under warranty can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks turnaround time in some cases longer depending on the supplier. In this time please be patient and don`t hesitate to contact us for an update. Keep in mind it is often faster turnaround time dealing directly with the manufacture of the item.
